In this leadership role, you will work both strategically and operationally with information and data management. You inspire and secure collaboration by your passion for both business and people. You are analytical in your approach and has a special talent with extensive competence in data governance, modelling methods and data architecture.

You own our information management framework, and you ensure that it supports the business in maximizing the value of our information assets. You will work closely with digital and process development teams as well as data leaders to safeguard that information and data management practices are understood and embedded in all initiatives in IKEA Industry. Together with peers across Inter IKEA, you will be defining and implementing policies, controls and programs to secure data quality, accessibility and re-usability. You support business stakeholders in realizing the potential of transforming data into actionable insights.

To be successful in this position, we wish that you:

  • Have strong leadership skills and a proven track records on leading and developing both business and people
  • Have a strong background in information and data management with several years of proven experience (e.g.  metadata management, information modelling approaches and information management tools/systems) preferably from a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with all levels of both internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Have capability to lead with clear and inspiring communication
  • Are curious and with high drive, perseverance, and analytical skills.
  • Have experience in project and change management
  • Are a big fan of home furnishing


Location for this position is flexible, it can either be based out of any IKEA Industry unit, in our 8 countries we operate or at IKEA Industry office in Malmö, Sweden. Please note that we have published this job opportunity in multiple countries and location, however there is only one open position.
