Store Fulfilment Operations leader

You enjoy applying strategic, tactical and operational approach for analyzing business opportunities from customer/market perspective and inspired by challenging situations. You have an eagerness and desire to understand the IKEA business, the customer and co-worker needs and influence the improvement of the business with a focus on customer and co-worker satisfaction. You shall have knowledge in the following areas: • You have perfect knowledge of English, Dutch and/or French • You have a university degree or equivalent in logistics, commercial or supply chain management, or a proven experience in those fields. • You have a working experience in a management position in distribution, retails or logistics and, as such, you have sound knowledge of different leadership styles and needs and can adapt to different situations. • You have experience of delivering both business result and people development. You are aware of the needs and expectations of the co-workers and you know how to identify any relevant stakeholders and involve them in the processes. You are adaptive and can easily lead in an unknown and/or changing environment. • You have knowledge market intelligence coupled with a customer-centered approach. You have a good business understanding of key performance measurement used to plan, follow up and steer the business and to identify the customers’ needs, demands and expectations on the market. • You have a strong analytic mind and good understanding of finance and its impact on the whole business and network. • A valuable asset is a good knowledge of IKEA as a business model, a strong insight into the strategic landscape and ways of working of the company. As a leader, you should be able to inspire others on IKEA vision and values, in particular when applied to customer fulfilment, and to do so, you have a solid knowledge of the company’s logistic and business processes.


• In close collaboration with the Store Fulfilment Operations Manager and relevant business partners, you will ensure the high-level of quality in the planning and execution of goods flow processes. • You will ensure effective, qualitative and efficient goods flow of the whole stores’ fulfilment processes. • You will secure strong cooperation between the Logistics Managers in the stores and the central Replenishment Leader. • You will be in charge of measuring the input provided by the goods flow in the different stores and, where relevant, of using this as a basis sales location management. • As a leader, you will support and inspire other goods flow internal stakeholders (matrix) by providing all appropriate development tools. • You will support co-workers and business partners competence development through high-quality knowledge-sharing and good communication. • You will promote and stimulate entrepreneurial orientation and contribute to development and innovation in the Market Store Fulfilment role and its relevant internal stakeholders. • You will ensure the country goods flow teams work in compliance with all internal IKEA and local regulations relating to health, safety and security and the environment. • You will contribute to the positioning of IKEA as a responsible partner in lowering the environmental impact and working towards greater sustainability. In this role you will report to the Store Fulfilment Operations Manager. This role is located in Service Office Zaventem
