- University degree or documented in-depth knowledge about sustainability
- Passion about sustainability and future technologies
- Basic knowledge about project management and basic analytical skills
- Fluent in English and German both written and spoken
- Work independently and act decisively
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to inspire and motivate people
- Ability to build trustful relationships
- Problem solving skills


'- Co-ordinate and lead the sustainability related work in our unit and be ambassador for the Year of Sustainability at IKEA
- Work with and inspire the organization to keep sustainability integrated into the daily business
- Partner with managers, facility management, property management or charity organizations to meet the goals
- Develop and support the fulfillment of the sustainability goals (i.e. waste, energy, CO2 emissions) and follow up and report the results
- Support the development of common working methods to the Sustainability Area Matrix Group
- Monitor and co-ordinate the implementation of applicable environmental legislation for the logistic unit
- Actively follow external developments, new technologies and networks to gain a more global and visionary view

Working time: 15-20 hours per week, flexible working times

For this position, we offer a collective wage (collective agreement for employees in forwarding and warehousing companies) on the basis of full-time employment (40 hours per week) of EUR 2,148 gross per month. Attractive social benefits are offered.
