For this role we believe you have minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing / Media and delivering results as well as minimum 5 years of experience in leading and influencing co-workers and teams. You also have experience from retail, preferably home furnishing sector, as well asexperience in planning, driving output and measuring performance (business and people).
You have deep knowledge of budgeting for multichannel marketing as well as of media landscape and interplay between paid, earned and owned channels, on and offline. You have broad knowledge of the development towards an Omni channel reality in Retail home furnishing as well as of Marketing Technology (e.g. DMP, DSP’s etc.) and other tools (e.g. econometrics) as well as of IKEA multichannel reality and online customer behaviours. In addition,you have broad knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision as well as of IKEA tools, processes and cycles as well as of Group strategies, priorities and business planning process as well as of operational plans and goals including follow up on KPIs. Finally, you possess good knowledge of change management methods and tools as well as stakeholder management.
You have ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of Commercial as an integrated part of the business. You have good leadership capabilities including ability to lead peers and stakeholders while communicating in an inspirational way with the IKEA tone of voice combined with strong interpersonal skills. Furthermore, you have strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions with speed and simplicity as well as ability to take a holistic view of a global organisationand identify business opportunities accordingly as well as ability to follow up and measure performance of output and capture learnings to improve planning and performance moving forward.

Your responsibilities
In the role as Country Integrated Media Manager, you areresponsible for leading the Integrated Media team, defining strategy and budget for utilization of each media channel to maximize marketing ROI.

You will:
  • Act as a member of the Marketing Management team and proactively contribute the marketing plan and output in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals
  • Be responsible for leading the Integrated Media team and driving the totality of the IKEA offering to the market through all paid media
  • In collaboration with the Communication team, manage the strategy, planning, execution and optimizing the use of owned, earned and paid media channels to maximize commercial impact, drive business results and improve cost efficiency of results
  • Be responsible for strategy, planning, execution and optimizing all use of owned, earned and paid media channels to maximize commercial impact, drive business results and improve cost efficiency of results
  • Be responsible for managing local media agency relationships to meet Country Marketing needs and improve ROI of Marketing
  • Be responsible for securing metrics to understand media performance, and identify needs and gaps (in cooperation with Insights team) to meet business and marketing objectives
  • Be responsible for securing good media governance and accountability by leading the work with media agencies and key media and platform vendors
  • Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and maximize impact
  • Contribute to the integrated multichannel executions/output of the function in order to contribute to the business goals
  • Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values, and contribute to the transformation of IKEA
  • Support all initiatives within and outside commercial included in the agreed communication plan (e.g. promote home solar)
In this role you will report to the Country Marketing Manager.
This role is located in Hofheim Wallau.
