Your Background:

• You have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in sustainability and/or business as well as an understanding of IKEA Brand, culture & values. Retail market experience is preferred.

Your Experience & Know How:

• You have in-depth knowledge of how to balance and merge environmental, social and economic aspects to define sustainability and make business within the limits of the planet.
• You have an excellent knowledge of the impact of healthy and sustainable living and of relevant sustainability topics within the Austrian market
• You have a profound experience in strategic business/commercial planning and project management
• You have excellent skills in change-management and stakeholder-management
• You have an up-to-date knowledge in strategic communication and brand positioning
• You know how to analyse and use digital (sustainability) data to create a positive impact on business & people
• You have excellent communication skills in German and English.
• As an internal applicant you have a strong knowledge of the IKEA concept, our Culture & values and ways of working.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You are responsible for the integration and implementation of the sustainability People & Planet Positive strategy at IKEA Austria
• You act as a business partner to all functions, securing that the sustainability agenda is integrated in all parts of our business and sustainability contribution is delivered.
• You will lead and develop the team of Sustainability Business Partners
• As an internal and external spokesperson you represent sustainability, participate in advocacy activities, events and networking empowering others to become more sustainable
• You secure positive impact on local communities through deep understanding of the local communities and co-creating with identified key stakeholders
• Together with global and local partners you develop our sustainability strategy. You drive development projects, continually maintaining a future- & trend-oriented outside-in perspective
• You empowering and engage all co-workers in creating a new IKEA with sustainability at the core

For this fulltime position we offer you a monthly gross salary starting from € 4333 (on fulltime base). We are willing to pay significantly more depending on experience and qualification with an ALL-IN contractual agreement.
