Job description

A CDO is responsible for leading and managing all IT implementation projects, including managing the resources needed to successfully achieve the goals set by the IKEA business. The CDO is responsible for execution of the digital policies of the organization, budgeting for all Digital solution and key performance indication measurement. The CDO ensures that information flow too and from the IKEA business units to Digital Development, makes sure IT personal is trained properly and keeps super user competence and concept according to the business need.

Main Assignments
- Lead all digital project-implementation through a complete, well understood and agreed project plans 
Implement digital policies and ensure their usages.
- Coordinate the digital requests of the IKEA business to the Digital Development organization.
- Prioritize projects together with the Head Digital Development. 
- Deliver budget for both CAPEX and OPEX to ensure that the right resources are available for the digital capabilities of the IKEA business.
- Define the super-user-concept and ensure the super-user-competence. 
- Define the KPI‘s of digital implementation and support.
- Inform the organization regularly and any change or development of projects and any other relevant digital information.   
- Identify competitive services, opportunities for innovation by assessing the retail market in cooperation with the IKEA business.
- Promote the use of new technologies and techniques.


Skills, Capabilities and Experience
- Good knowledge of general IT knowledge.
- Good to have experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Active Directory, Web Development, Cisco configuration etc.
- Experience in leading and managing people, strong communication and leadership skills.
- A self-starter that shows initiative and takes responsibility.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, deliver result and meet deadlines.
- Verbal and written fluency in English.
