A PROPOS DU POSTE
You drive visitor traffic to the restaurant. You lead and manage the IKEA FOOD Commercial team consisting of the Restaurant sales areas, Customer areas (including co-worker restaurant) and Coffee bar.
You implement the IKEA FOOD concept to increase the sales of IKEA home furnishings products and support the IKEA position as the leading in life at home.



MISSION

  • Maximise vitality and commerciality of IKEA FOOD in your store to increase sales and profitability according to your goals.
  • Ensure an effective implementation and presentation of the IKEA FOOD range. Implement your action plan utilising the appropriate national and international benchmarking tools and best-practice.
  • Together with Local Marketing lead and implement activities to drive traffic also during non-peak hours to the restaurant such as promotions, food sampling, etc.
  • Ensure the development of the margin through sales steering.
  • Ensure constant improvement of the average check, use sales steering, add on sales and take immediate actions connected to the top seller report.
  • Actively contribute and support all marketing and in-store activities by integrating IKEA FOOD in the store’s Commercial Calendar.

  • Ensure that you have the customer in focus and meet our customers with a positive, friendly and service-minded attitude. You want to exceed their expectations.
  • Ensure speed and efficiency in the meeting with the customer through an effective use of IKEA solutions.
  • Maximise sales and profit by having appropriate routines for all communication, from parking area into the IKEA FOOD area showing relevant offers, including the use of 4 faces throughout the day.
  • Ensure an efficient maintenance of the Commercial Areas, ensuring they are organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the competition on the local food market. Use this information to initiate immediate actions, to secure an appropriate price distance.

PROFILE

  • Passionate about food and people
  • A strong desire to maximize turnover, create profit and improve our customers' shopping experience by demonstrating strong commercials skills
  • Like to work in a high-volume, fast paced, and constantly changing retail environment
  • Experience in managing co-workers successfully
  • Fluent both in French and English
  • Excellent communication skills, strategic, analytical and tactical abilities.
  • Is able to manage others by giving clear direction and precise goals, leading by example, delegating responsibility, etc.
  • Take initiative and maintain ownership
  • Put the customer first and improve our customer's shopping experience
  • Identify with IKEA values and has a desire to live them in the daily work
