Do you enjoy working in a hands-on environment? To be in the running for our next Recovery Co-worker, we need you to have:

•A passion for building furniture, our products and our sustainability initiatives
•A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently
•Problem solving ability and be able to think outside of the box
•Experience with regular use of computers and IT systems
•Strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do
•Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
•A safe mindset, and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting
•Availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends AND a mix of morning, afternoon and evening shifts ranging from 7am to 10:30pm

This is a permanent part time (40 hours per fortnight) opportunity to join the recovery team at IKEA Tempe!


As Recovery Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

•Unpacking, sorting and recovering a mix of pallets consisting of discontinued and damaged stock
•Building and taking apart furniture where needed
•Supporting the team to ensure all written-off, damaged or returned items are transferred to Recovery


The Recovery department is a vital link in the success of the business working to recover costs by minimising internal damages through repacking, building and selling both damaged goods and customer returns.
