You are an inspirational leader and impassioned foodie (with a particular love of meatballs). You will demonstrate: •Supervisory experience operating in a high volume food production environment. •Must have strong leadership skills, with the ability to successfully manage large team of co-workers. •Operational focus, to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, serving customers, managing staff and maintaining high hygiene standards. •A true customer advocate that takes pride in the service and product they deliver. •Ability to influence and communicate effectively on all levels. •Computer skills required, including being competent with all Microsoft Office products.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IKEA Food Production Specialist (Kitchen Production) you will motivate and lead your team of passionate co-workers to drive your department’s commerciality to ensure our success through: •Ensuring customers are always in focus and striving to make them smile, by showing empathy and care. •Coaching co-workers on the job so they can meet the needs of our customers and grow professionally, and by leading by example. •Achieving sales growth through exceeding food sales targets and KPIs. •Providing an irresistible food offering through attractive presentation of the range and products. •Maintain IKEA Quality and Food Safety Standards, producing and dating food according to specifications complying with HACCP standards, and maintains a safety culture.

OUR TEAM WITHIN IKEA

The IKEA Food Production Specialist is integral to the success of IKEA Food and is responsible for the food preparation for both the Customer and Co-worker restaurants. You will work closely with the Kitchen Production Manager to drive and motivate the team to achieve set commercial goals.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As our store operates 7 days per week, the successful applicant must have availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day, evening and weekends. This is a permanent part time opportunity to join the Food team at IKEA Tempe!
