ABOUT THE JOB To support the Communications & Interior Design Team in securing high quality carpentry and painwork throughout the store in a simple, safe and cost and time effective way.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
Secure high quality, simplicity and cost-consciousness in the execution of work by using best practices and following routines
Implement the agreed Comm & In store action plan with a sense of urgency and an eye for detail in order to support the creation of a strong visual impression in the store
Be conscious of the importance of safety at all times while working on the shop floor and take fast action when safety is comprised
Plan and order materials and resources and ensure costs are accurate and agreed
Reduce the environmental footprint and minimise costs by working consciously with resources and materials, and maximising opportunities to recycle and reuse materials
YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
Carpentry related work experience with excellent craftsmanship
Visual competence with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to details.
A passion for home furnishing, retailing, design and how people live at home
Possess a customer focused mindset
Ability to explain ideas and solutions verbally
Ability to priorities and organise own work in order to make the most efficient use of time available and meet agreed deadline
Proficient computer skills
