You see the connection between an exciting customer journey and maximisation of sales and long-term profitability, and you use your knowledge of people’s life at home to present and communicate the IKEA value to our customers. You’re a natural leader and you understand how to get the team to work towards common and strategic goals.
It’s in your DNA to see where we can differentiate ourselves, which is why you excel at visualising the uniqueness of the IKEA product range within several areas such as our self-serve furniture area, our Swedish Food Market and generally activities throughout the store that makes us stand out! You use your abilities to maximise the impact of our store to ensure that visitors are converted into satisfied customers.
It’s paramount that you have extensive experience within visual merchandising, and leadership experience is required.
As Visual Merchandising and Activity Manager, your core responsibility will be your team, and ensuring that the team thrives and constantly develops. You and your team will strengthen the IKEA Taastrup store’s positioning by combining the global strategies with national and local priorities and as such secure the relevance, attractiveness and competitiveness of the IKEA brand in our market.
More specifically, your main responsibilities will be;
• Optimising the use of the store-layout by developing and implementing range presentation solutions that strengthen the connection between our product range and the many people
• Securing extensive knowledge of the store areas and clarifying each areas purpose to the customer journey
• Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity and creating an astounding visual impact in all commercial, sales support and co-worker areas.
