Customer Fulfilment (CFF) plays a fundamental role within Retail in achieving the IKEA goal of becoming a multichannel retailer. Customer Fulfilment acts as a fully integrated function, with an end-to-end approach to develop our business, having customers’ needs at heart. We are focusing on contributing to a seamless shopping experience for the many people with great quality across all touchpoints.

The Fulfilment Sourcing function within CFF is taking the accountability and overall responsibility for securing fulfilment on the market in an end to end perspective.

You are passionate about understanding the IKEA business and customer needs to influence improvement of the business with focus on customer satisfaction. Being customer oriented you see the customer first and consider the impact on the customer when taking decisions. You enjoy applying strategic, tactical and operational approach for analysing business opportunities from customer/market perspective and is inspired by challenging situations. Naturally you share the IKEA vision, values and culture.
For this role you have a university degree in Economics, Logistics, Business Administration or relevant working experience from strategic sourcing. You bring 2-4 years working experience from sourcing environment and experience in developing business development roadmaps, contract management, negotiations, business analysis and project management. You have good knowledge of the legislation and regulations governing the logistics fulfilment industry.
You have knowledge in following areas:

  • Good business understanding and excellent knowledge of, supply chain, warehousing operations and service business leading to an excellent customer fulfilment
  • Excellent knowledge of the customer and co-worker needs, demands and expectations on the markets
  • Market & industry intelligence:
  • Change and stakeholder management
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Financial competence and understanding of the financial impact on total network
  • Knowledge from working with IT solution landscapes associated with sourcing and service fulfilment.
  • Knowledge of the IKEA business model, our strategic landscape and IKEA ways of working are preferred but not required.

As a person you have excellent collaborative mind-set in building relationships across the organisation and having influence and personal impact by using good communication and negotiation skills. Your respond to business and customer needs is strong and you have an end-to-end orientation and the ability to act within the global framework in order to achieve local/market/organisation goals.

The purpose of the role is to take direct responsibility for securing fulfilment on the market in an end-to-end perspective by enabling the prerequisites for excellent quality in execution:
  • Blended sourcing options
  • Make capacities available for Customer Fulfilment whenever and wherever needed
  • Secure long term development and preparation for growth as per market penetration plan
  • IKEA as a preferred partner
  • Alternative Fuel Development

You will contribute to the day to day work and development of the strategic sourcing organisation within the market with a customer-centric and collaborative approach in focus.
In this role you will contribute to creating the right prerequisites in the organisation to enable the growth agenda and secure the Group and market Customer Fulfilment agenda is translated into the Strategic Sourcing organisation.
