As operations controller, you will lead the performance management for one or more work areas. You will work closely with teams and decision makers to drive decisions, identify new opportunities and initiate actions to grow the business and increase customer satisfaction. Data, facts and figures are the tools to which you add value through your insights and recommendations. This requires passion for and ability to spot business opportunities behind data, an analytical mindset, business drive and strong communication skills.
• You have a professional background in finance, business administration, economics or similar. • You have in-depth knowledge of business administration; internal control demands as well as accounting principles & financial statements. Experience in staff scheduling as an advantage. • You have good knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements. • You are an expert in performing risks analyses, controlling internal demands within set deadlines and have an eye for details. • You understand retail processes, working methods and various retail-related tools. • You are flexible, used to adapting in a changing environment and strive for simplicity in everything you do. • You work proactively, take initiative and have the creative ability to find new solutions that challenge and optimize the current ways of doing things. • You feel at ease using MS-Office, reporting tools and other business information systems.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Supporting the Business Controller in steering the business towards long-term profitability and improving sales, efficiency and minimizing costs. • Analysis of customer insights and staff planning in cooperation with analysts. • Influencing and enabling fact-based decision making through quickly generating insights based on consumer, market and business information. • Identifying opportunities and risks through scenario planning, modelling, risk assessments and contingency planning together with the team. • Leading and coordinating different processes, i.e. range dimensions. • Maintain an overview of administrative tasks and acting on irregularities. • Challenging existing ways of working with the goal of operating in a quicker, leaner and simpler way. • Strong support of bookkeeping at the Customer Support Center.
