ABOUT THE JOB Reporting to the Shopkeeper of the respective Home Furnishing Business, the Sales Associate provides excellent sales service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and ensures the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place to give customers a positive shopping experience.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
You ensure the respective home furnishing business area are clean, tidy, items are on displayed, priced and fully stocked to provide an easy shopping experience for the customers
You forecast sales and adjust sales space capacities to secure high stock availability
You actively steered the top selling and prioritized products to maximize sales
You ensure high level of customers’ satisfaction by assessing customers’ needs and provide information and assistance when required
You continuously keep yourself updated on the home furnishing products and in-store services and promotions to help customers make informed choices
You keep the shop floor tidy be ensuring all loose items are picked up and returned to the respective home furnishing areas
YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
You are customer-serviced focused with a passion in retail home furnishing business
You are a problem solver, self-motivated and a strong team player
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills with basic knowledge of PC
You are physically fit to handle physical work and pro-longed hours of standing
You are able to commit to working on AM & PM shift work, weekends and public holidays
Part Time Co-Worker on 20 contractual hours per week, inclusive of weekends and public holidays
