Job description

Reporting to the Goods Flow Team Manager, you will be responsible for the goods-in process in IKEA Tampines; ensuring the most efficient, commercial and safe way possible to provide a good shopping experience for our customers.

Your assignment

  • You will be responsible for the receiving the containers on schedule, ensuring there is no backlogs in order to meet the stocks availability for customers.
  • You will perform quality checks and ensure only good-conditioned goods are received.
  • You will adhere to quality, security and safety service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • You will ensure the loading bay and the warehouse is clean and safe for work
  • You will be required to operate forklifts
  • You may be required to operate pallet jack to move heavy article

Qualification

Your profile

  • You are able to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic warehouse logistics environment
  • You are energetic and physically fit to be able to lift heavy articles and enjoy hands on physical work
  • You are a team player who is motivated and committed with a strong sense of responsibility
  • You are pc literate and have basic knowledge in software
  • You have a valid forklift license and have min 3 years of driving forklift experience
  • You are able to commit 30 contractual hours per week for part-timers , including weekends and public holidays
  • Your shift is from 0200am to 0830am, if unless we expect heavier volume for receiving then it will be until 1000am.
