Management of facility operations, energy consumption, and maintenance of the facilities infrastructure, buildings. Ensure technical teams are trained and competent for operations and maintenance of the building
Investigate, develop and implement solutions, trouble shoot on day to day operational problems of facilities and building. Take charge on all emergency control on and off hours
Create a good working environment for the Facilities team by setting a good example with simple, straight forward behaviour and take ownership to support the development of the team
Ensure that our Buildings and Property are compliant to statutory legal requirements and that IKEAs’ rules and regulations, policies and SOP’s are adhered to. Perform periodical quality control inspections to ensure adherence to company specifications and standards
Shared responsibility for business results, goals, defining and applying life cycle within all functional work processes, especially in annual budgeting. Assure the reliability and cost effective operations of various facilities whilst controlling the build-up of the maintenance cost
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in facilities, maintenance and building management
Well versed in all laws governing the building management. Member of IWFM, IFMA, IAM, RICS or local Property / FM Industry Institution would be an advantage
Outstanding strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
Proven leadership abilities to lead, motivate and develop others
Able to commit working on AM & PM shift, including weekends and public holidays
