About the job

This is full-time position is for an excellent communicator and outgoing people person who shares our passion for IKEA products, our sustainability agenda and our unique workplace culture. You will be part of the Corporate Communication team in our Service Office, leading and supporting efforts to build positive brand perception through quality communication and engagement with co-workers, communities and corporate stakeholders.

Your assignment

  • Strategy & Business Planning: take a lead in the collaborative development and execution of a corporate and internal communication strategy and yearly Business Plans
  • Coaching & Expertise: support internal partners on thought-leadership, change management & crisis comms
  • Point person for mediaand external inquiries on corporate communication matters, assessing opportunities
  • Conceptualise, write, edit and produce content –annual report, corporate videos, internal news & more.
  • Develop and exectue select internal co-worker & community engagement activities: in partnership with others
  • Drive improvement of a platform of internal communication channels, template and tools


Your profile

  • A critical thinker with the curiosity and ability to understand and connect to our businesses at all levels
  • A proven writer with a strong visual eye who can execute content to inspire, clarify, inform, influence in many formats
  • A can-do attitude, with creative ideas and a proactive approach to meet challenges and get things done
  • A team player who enjoys collaboration and co-creation, able to lead others through engagement
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment
  • 5 years of working experience or background in journalism, public relations or marketing
