Job description

WHO YOU ARE

• University degree in mechanical and electrical engineering, quantity surveying or cost management.
• Certificate qualification on Registered Cost Engineer, or Quantity Surveying.
• At lease 10 years’ experience on cost management in commercial development company or professional consulting organizations.
• Broad knowledge of cost information across all types of property development, and familiar with China local property construction market business.
• Preferable in Quantity Surveying Service Company, Project Management Company in commercial department, Construction Procurement, Contract Management, Cost Management.
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organized and principle based.

• Support operations of Real Estate, focusing mainly on implementing new Procedures and managing cost forecast and follow up for the Real Estate scope.
• Consolidate, benchmark and maintain latest market data for Real Estate scope, in particularly for Land and Construction information.
• Evaluate the cost estimation from Quantity Surveying consultants and secure accurate figures all along and at each stage of the design process to provide business owners with accurate budgets for Real Estate investment projects, reinvestment projects and Facility Management scope.
• Educate and clarify the cost group definition to related parties.
• Cost follow up for property investment by using Unifier and CFU report input for CG1 to 11.
• Change order review, contract management and final account negotiation support.
• Provide cost analysis in order to keep to budget and steer and improve the business.
• Lead and supervise Quantity Surveying in terms of the cost management for the Real Estate scope.
• Implement and secure the usage of relevant tools within the Real Estate Business.
• Identify business improvement potential and detecting business risks and propose-needed action.
• Provide support to the Real Estate functions to secure compliance with relevant rules and guidelines.
