WHO YOU ARE

• 8 years’ experience in working with different digital marketplace vendors in China including, Tmall operations and proven results in managing Tmall business .
• P&L responsibility for similar sized business.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experiences on the drivers of Digital Channels business while can dig into operation details and demonstrate abilities to make sure execution excellence.
• Experience working with the Tmall related tools such as Shengyicanmou, Qingbaotong, Databank, Strategy centre, etc.
• Experienced in Tmall activation project (IP project) and big campaign management.
• Extensive knowledge of the IKEA Concept, the IKEA Brand Identity and
the IKEA Culture & Values.
• Extensive understanding of China Digital eco-systems, understanding how
new technology affects the world and how that relates to the IKEA business.
• Extensive knowledge of how to manage business plans, how to follow up on
goals and KPIs.
• Extensive knowledge of how to use data to make informed decisions and how to
critically evaluate data and data analyses.
• General knowledge of ensuring high quality execution of all people
processes securing performing, competent and engaged co-workers.
• Extensive knowledge of the IKEA business model, the strategic landscape
and IKEA ways of working.
• General knowledge of how to balance and merge environmental, social and
economic aspects to define sustainability and how IKEA uses that
knowledge in striving to make business within the limits of the planet.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

This role has overall P&L responsibility for the digital marketplace business(es), and is responsible for the quality of strategy and operations to ensure business growth is on target.
The role also has ownership of the digital marketplace calendar planning along with day to day operations. Also responsible for building and growing internal teams as well as managing external vendors and Taobao Partners (TP)
Additionally, the responsibility of this role includes overseeing integration of relevant IT systems to support the business, crossfunctional collaboration across the China organization, and managing relationship and commercial opportunities with digital marketplace platforms.

• Be responsible for IKEA’s digital revenue growth through digital marketplace’s, focused around growing our reach on marketplace platforms.
• Provide functional expertise to drive implementation of the marketplace platforms ecommerce strategy.
• Responsible for the P&L for the marketplace platform business, ensuring that growth and profitability targets are met.
• Plan overall platform digital marketplace calendar and ensure quality of day to day operations – including building and growing internal teams as well as managing external vendors.
• Be responsible for the first-hand digital marketplaces, like Tmall, activity related information and take quick action to fight for the resources from different marketplaces and maintain the relationship with them.
• Manage vendors contracts like Taobao Partner (TP) by setting clear expectations on deliverables.
• Oversee technical integration of relevant IT systems to support the business.
• Build cross-functional collaboration across the China organization, especially around product range and commerciality to connect e-commerce strategy with overall country and commercial strategy.
• Provide data-driven insights about our business to optimize strategy and operations.
• Drive competitor analysis across relevant marketplace platforms and communicate insights cross functionally in Country Digital and Country Retail organisations.
• Lead, inspire and motivate co-workers in the digital marketplace team, continuously develop capabilities and talent to secure a high-performing team.
• Promote, actively engage and share the responsibility in the delivery of the Ingka sustainability, People & Planet Positive, Strategy to enable the ongoing transformation and growth of the IKEA business.
