Position: Sales & Sales planning tools Establishment Leader

Direct Report: Regional Sales Manager

Based On: IKEA Service Office Santiago, Chile

Company: IKSO Franchise 


Responsible to lead and represent Sales function in all Customer Meeting point establishment and other projects. Play a lead role in briefing, planning and compilation of design specifications. Secure a successful implementation that meets IKEA conceptual standards, optimal commerciality and operational readiness within the time plan and budgets.

Purpose of the Role: 

  • Driving the process of the assigned sales area and deliver an effective space and capacity dimensioning, create and manage the sales space structure, calculation, range allocation and racking needs. 
  • Secure a complete and accurate range list for planning throughout the project. 
  • Coaching to leaders and co-workers throughout all phases of the project.
  • Secure the sales and commercial priorities are implemented in the Customer Meeting Point, to reach agreed goals and KPIs for the CMP.
  • Contribute to a smooth shopping experience with an end to end approach.
  • Secure an understanding of all standards, working methods and tools to ensure continues improvements in ways of working and return of investments. 

  • Contribute to regular progress reports to the key stakeholders and Commercial Team and act on deviations.
  • Organise checkpoints and sign offs with involved stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the IKEA concept, mandatories, functional review and legal standards. 
  • Be co-ordinated among all functions with expansion and establishment department

  • The Sales space dimensioning report source system, Product Change management tool and Dimensioning weight packaging.
  • Good knowledge of IKEA range structure, and how to prioritize products when planning.
  • Sales space management tool and working method, merchandising solutions and sales solution reports.
  • IKEA way of selling and working home furnishing.
  • Sales areas of responsibilities; Sales steering, Product & Price communication, mandatories and functional review.
  • Consumers, market insights and shopping behaviors.
  • How to create a unique imagine for IKEA in the many peoples mind.

  • Project management and demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Coaching and leading people to create engagement and commitment for plans.
