Sales Co-Worker, Kitchen

Job description

Increase sales by utilizing effective selling skills and tools to satisfy eCommerce customer needs and position IKEA as the best home furnishing store.

Your tasks will include:
  • Offer a professional and courteous service to kitchen and business customers via phone and e-mail.
  • Use knowledge of the range, the sales system and tools to improve the easy buying process.
  • Explain features and benefits of our products and services; offer add-on sales.
  • Keep up-to-date on the competitive environment for kitchens & appliances.
  • Use all available information sources to give customers correct and updated information.
  • Build effective networks with customers.
  • Support e-commerce customers and follow up on existing orders.
  • Contribute to an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of Co-workers and customers.
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), in French and English.
  • 1 to 2 years previous kitchen planning experience.
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in retail.
  • Ability to read and design plans.
  • Passion for designing and selling kitchens.
  • Attention to detail & excellent organizational skills.
  • A sense of urgency.
  • Ability to take initiative, maintain ownership and push things forward until completion.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of our business customers.
  • Enthusiastic about working with others in a team.
  • Flexible approach to work and are open to change.
