About the job

IKEA Business is one of our core focus areas and your challenge will be to drive the sales of our products to our business customers by combining your knowledge of the IKEA product range with your knowledge of the local market and the needs of customers as well.

Your tasks will include:

  • Understand our global strategy and use this knowledge cross-functionally to help increase our value to clients.
  • Achieve and maintain the positioning of our company as leader its sector through the implementation of the agreed plans.
  • Understand the inputs and outputs of our business model.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders (such as Marketing, Communication and Interior design, Logistic and Customer Relation) on issues and opportunities impacting the business
  • Build an organizational culture in which performance and corporate values matter.
  • Ensure adherence to annual budgets.
  • Proactively establish and maintain relationships with all major developer and corporate clients.


To be successful in this role you need to have:

  • Possess substantial years of experience in a key role in corporate sales function.
  • Passion and knowledge of home furnishing, interior design, retail and communications is be highly regarded.
  • Leadership skills, as well as diplomatic and tactful. Capable of influencing broad audiences by simplifying complex messages and effectively presenting proposals
  • Adaptable and comfortable with a highly demanding and changing business environment
  • Flexible, resourceful and able to multi-task while establishing priorities and providing solutions
  • Ability to prioritise/organise tasks both internal & external source in order to make the most efficient use of time available.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build working relationship.
  • Good customer service and selling skills are preferred.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • You possess fluent speaking, reading and writing skills in English, Latvian and Russian.
