Sales Co-Worker

WHO YOU ARE

You have experience working in sales, customer-service and can work in a fast-paced environment. You are confident, enthusiastic and enjoy working individually and as part of a supportive team. You strive to ensure that customers have the best possible shopping experience, while also helping out other co-workers in need. You are willing to learn about and demonstrate a passion for products in your area.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will be to focus on the customer experience by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, tidy, fully stocked and correctly priced. You also ensure your products are in perfect condition at all times and area prepared for stock replenishment and next day’s business. You are passionate about your product range, you actively learn about their features and benefits and want to share your knowledge with customers and colleagues. You actively approach customers who you see need additional help and advise them on the best solutions for their home.

OUR TEAM WITHIN IKEA

As an IKEA co-worker you are part of a friendly and approachable team who are always happy to help out and answer questions. Sales co-workers have frequent customer interactions through giving directions and answering questions. Learning the product range and features are fundamental skills to provide the best possible IKEA experience for customers. As our store trades 7 days a week including weekends you are required to work a mix of day, evening and weekend shifts, and have availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends.
