Each category is responsible to plan, purchase, operate and follow up the service execution of transports and services. About the job
As Global Quality Manager Transport & Logistics Services you report to the Global Transport & Logistics Services Manager and you are part of the Global Transport & Logistics Services Management team.
In this role you lead the quality direction work for Transport & Logistics Services and you secure the execution in the categories and operational units. You lead the agenda for decreasing handling damages in IKEA Supply and secure collaboration with all stakeholders in the value chain, both in Inter and with all franchisees. As Global Quality Manager Transport & Logistics Services you:
• Lead the quality direction for handling damages in IKEA Supply with focus on development, deviation handling and compliance areas, set common priorities and goals based on IKEA direction and relevant strategies.
• Are in lead from INTER IKEA for Supply Quality to reduce handling damages and supply quality deviation, work in close collaboration with Customer Fulfilment (CFF) in INGKA on one agenda and common priorities.
• Develop/contribute to better ways of working, processes, frameworks, tools and capture synergies across the value chain in terms handling damage, secure implementation when relevant.
• Manage all stakeholders and secure alignment around Quality priorities for handling damages within INTER IKEA and different franchisees.
• Lead competence direction/review for the quality capability regarding handling damages in IKEA Supply incl. global and common competence development areas.
• Are an active contributor to the Supply Quality matrix between Purchasing & Logistics Areas, Transport & Logistics Services,  IKEA Component and Purchasing Development.

About you
To be successful in this role you have
• Good understanding of relevant business plans, Service Provider Development Process (SPDP) and Product Offer processes (DPOP; DNS, DNP, Improves and discontinue)
• Good knowledge of the value chain related to distristribution and the logistic flow
• Excellent communication skills and a high motivation to lead people and competence development 
• Ability to deliver results through involving, leading, developing and inspiring people in a remote environment – act as manager, coach and mentor
• Ability to lead business with a holistic and analytical view, always act with the Customer, Supplier, total IKEA and Quality in mind
• Very good knowledge of different stakeholder roles and responsibilities in the IKEA value chain
• Energy, drive and commitment to inspire, influence, build trust and collaborate with different stakeholders to reach common goals and deliver business results
• Good knowledge of Quality processes and tools and working methods/instructions
• Very good understanding of how your everyday work adds customer value
