About you

When you think of IKEA, words like flexibility, fun, great atmosphere and Scandinavian style of working come to your mind. Education in Purchasing, Supplier Management or Supply Chain Management area will be a great asset but is not a must; what matters is that you feel natural in multinational environment and you enjoy working with your colleagues all over the Europe dealing with different administrative tasks.

You have:

  • Experience from order administration
  • Good knowledge of customer service and support
  • Customer and solution approach
  • Good computer skills including Excel
  • English language skills: excellent writing and reading comprehension
  • Good analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Attention to details
  • Experience form Finance or Retail area will be an asset
For Specialist role additionally you possess:
  • Experience from operational procurement
  • ERP/P2P systems knowledge
  • Knowledge of P2P area (procurement rules, case management, ordering process, e-procurement)

About the job

Procurement Operations Support Specialist is a part of a cross-functional global team. In this role you will support operational day to day procurement to pay activities: you will take care of order placements, resolve escalations and interact with IKEA suppliers and business partners on a daily basis. You will be their first point of contact as well as their voice, able to capture their needs and feedback.

About the assignment
  • Being part of a helpdesk providing professional support in procurement process mostly via e-mail
  • Ensure the accurate placement and correctness of purchase orders
  • Support users fulfil their needs of indirect products and services in a compliant and cost-effective way
  • Help the Group Procurement understand the users’ business need

Ingka Business Service Center is an organisation located in Poznan (Poland). Our assignment is to take care of transactional services for IKEA Group organizations in all European countries where IKEA has its business activities. Our aim is to work more efficiently with administrative tasks within Finance and HR throughout the IKEA Group, to help our units focus on the core IKEA business: meeting our customers.
