The establishment of IKEA Supply (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (ISMY) is to support/drive improvement in the current and future Logistics/Distribution Network within Asia Pacific (AP). The organization will supply full range of IKEA products from High Flow and Low Flow goods to South East Asia (SEA) market including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India and future new markets within the region.
We are strategically located at Port Klang, near Kuala Lumpur to cater for an efficient goods flow with minimum lead time for the inbound flow.
Provide professional onsite IT support with a high service level to local co-workers. Secure the support for a number of Inter IKEA IT systems and ensure the knowledge is kept professionally up-to-date about advances in technology. Secure organisational deliverables according to established Inter IKEA priorities through the development of a competent and high performing organisation based on the needs of today and tomorrow. Be the link between central stakeholders and the office in the country.
Perform and manage planned activities, such as IT installations, upgrades, local rebuilds and maintenance activities according to agreed goals, defined strategies and budget.
Take necessary decisions and actions to solve issues, as well as prioritise issues according to business needs in close co-operation with the Single Point of Contact (Helpdesk) in an efficient and professional manner.
Perform all daily tasks according to set procedures, rules and guidelines and ensure that they are aligned within the organization.
Provide technical training to end users.
At any time, act as an ambassador of Inter IKEA values, Inter IKEA IT and Role Model for Fact-based Business leadership in the country.
Maintain and ensure continuous uptime of the onsite IT infrastructure.
Secure efficiency within the team through simple and cost-efficient ways of working.
Responsible for the budget and overall Country IT investments.
Monitor the development of IT technologies and system trends, and evaluate their possible business benefits.
Responsible for IT security in close co-operation with risk management and information security.
Manage relationships with Inter IKEA IT, vendors, contractors, service providers and other stakeholders, such as local co-workers.
Respond to IT emergency situations.
At any time, act as an ambassador of Inter IKEA values.
5 years of relevant working experience
Degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent.
Good knowledge of Information Security Working Method and how to use them in the daily job tasks.
Good knowledge of the end user's needs and business processes.
Good knowledge of IT service management, processes and toolsets, procedures and guidelines.
Deep understanding of business impact upon service requests and incidents.
Deep knowledge of software, hardware, IP networks and voice communication.
Experience in technical and helpdesk support would be an added advantage
This permanent assignment will be based at our temporary management office at Kota Kemuning during the establishment period and to be relocated to the new Distribution Centre in Pulau Indah, Port Klang, Malaysia in year 2020.
