In Customer Support and Remote Selling Sub-domain, we are building the tools used by coworkers and customers when they need support before, during and after their purchase. Our vision is to make IKEA customer support experience be the best in the world.


You’ll lead the transformation of IKEA into a more data-driven company by extracting and sharing insights from data that reinforce, alter, or largely impact present and future decisions on business and product strategy, leading to a better experience for our customers.

• Ensure, promote and take responsibility for informed decision-making based on data in order to improve business performance as part of cross-functional digital product teams
• Conduct advanced data exploration and analysis using modern data mining techniques and visualization tools to provide insights that help co-workers and stakeholders make better decisions
• Evaluate the potential and usability of pre-processed, structured internal and external data sources for use in product analytics and data-driven decision-making in general
• Ensure that solutions fulfill and adapt to actual business needs to continuously generate value for Ingka by working side by side with co-workers from different functions
• Promote and apply agile ways of working in relation to advanced analytics, especially on topics like performance measurement and hypothesis testing by default to maximize key metrics and ensure that we realize the OKRs set by Group Digital

• Formal qualifications (BSc, MSc, PhD) in economics, finance, computer science, natural sciences, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, (Junior) Data/Web Analyst or (Junior) Data Scientist
• Demonstrated ability to access, extract, and manipulate data from various platforms using one or more common query programming languages (e.g. SQL, R, Python)
• Demonstrated experience with dashboard and/or data visualization development tools (e.g. Google Data Studio, Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau).
• Ideally some familiarity and/or experience with analytics in retail and/or customer experience market. Experience of Conversational AI in a customer contact setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments. We use Google Cloud Platform extensively.

This includes customer and co-worker experiences that we create with resources inside and outside your own control. It includes all channels and everything from customer facing channels down to operational platforms that keep our company running.

In this role you will report to the Data & Analytics Area Manager who sits in Sweden. This team locally reports to the Product Manager for IKEA Customer Service and Remote Sales. We work very close on day-to-day basis with the Customer Support & Returns sub-domain in Sweden, as well as with stakeholders in IKEA markets worldwide.
