About you

To be successful in your role you need to have:
• You have a university degree or corresponding.
• You have 5+ years of management experience from an international organisation, preferable within the area of procurement.
• You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
You are a natural in building and maintaining good relationships with people and you have a strong business mind-set and drive. You are a senior leader with the ability to translate long-term priorities into clearly defined business objectives. As a person you have great communication skills and identify with and live by the IKEA values. You enjoy working in a modern, ambitious and ever changing environment together with colleagues across the world.


As a Country Procurement manager for France you will lead the total procurement agenda for Ingka in France. You will work closely with country business owners and the CFO to ensure the best procurement contribution to the business. You will proactively suggest fact based saving potentials and secure that cost savings are reached in accordance with set goals. You will drive compliance and secure that the agreed supplier base is utilized. In this role you will also collect business needs from business owners and be the bridge between category managers and the country business owners.

An essential part of the assignment is to build close business oriented relationships and trust with key business partners, suppliers and users in order to drive performance and results. As a manager you lead by good example and you enjoy coaching and developing your co-workers to their fullest potential.
