About the job

We want to fill this Systems Engineer position for IKEA SEA, you will drive and support our Business Applications operations and projects including Navision Dynamics, LS Retail, E-Commerce and other business systems (CRM).

Your assignment

You are to plan, deploy and support scalable, stable, compliant and cost-effective IT applications to enable business growth and support existing business operations.  The focus of the assignment comprises of:

  • Provide LEVEL 2 support and service desk to business IT Navision Dynamics and CRM systems.
  • Daily Housekeeping of ERP and CRM system backend and jobs.
  • Support Audit activities of ERP systems.
  • Release Management/Version Control: Plan and support required Users Acceptance Tests (UAT) to pre-defined requirements and test cases
  • Provide support with application vendors and coordinate technical meetings with operations and business team stakeholders. 
  • Responsible to setup and handover applications to business end users following IKEA SEA standards, guidelines and checklists.
  • Coordinate and conduct training for local IT operations team and key business superusers during business project implementation and go-live activities.
  • Creates and maintains application system technical documentation and training materials.

Qualification

Your profile

This position requires you to be someone who is highly committed with a strong drive, service orientation, and problem solving mindset.  You enjoy working flexible hours and do not mind an occasional step outside your job scope. 

In addition to a tertiary qualification (related IT field), you are well-versed in Microsoft database and ERP applications with at least 3-5 years working experience in supporting applications. Knowledge of Retail IT technologies incl. Navision Dynamics, LS Retail POS, MS SQL , Point of Sales or Accounting, Warehousing, Ecommerce would be of considerable benefit.
