About the job
We want to fill this position with an energetic social media expert who is always on-trend, passionate about home furnishing and the IKEA brand. A guru with creative ideas on how to gain brand traction through creating and delivering innovative content, to support us in securing our overall vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people.
Develop the market search and social media strategy and framework with clearly defined objectives, contribute to and implement the strategic plan, evaluate the progress and make any necessary adjustments if needed.
You will plan and implement the country social content calendar by working closely with the Marketing, Sales and e-Commerce teams to achieve commercial goals, drive web and store visits, increase home furnishing interest and elevate awareness / personality of the IKEA brand through engaging and unique executions with great twinkle in the eye.
Ensure optimal reach, engagement and frequency (spends) across social platforms, outreach to bloggers/influencers, effective integration and optimisation of all activities with insights shared.
Ensure that all executions are aligned with IKEA Brand Values, Tone of Voice and the IKEA Brand copy identity guidelines to secure that the results are consistent, relevant, engaging and unique.
Work closely with Country Communications and Inspiration Manager, contribute to the budget planning process and take responsibility in all administrative matters relating to budgeting, monthly reconciliation with Finance teams, and re-forecasting assignments.
You have at least 5 years of experience in social media, search engine marketing and optimisation, content creation and influencer marketing.
Deep knowledge of social media platforms, understanding of media technicalities, knowledge of country social media trends including content production and proven solutions.
You enjoy strategising, getting hands on with copywriting (in English) and have great desktop publishing skills (Photoshop/InDesign), and meticulous about admin/budgeting.
Driven by generating efficiencies, customer insights, trends and media effectiveness, in line with agreed metrics, KPIs and ROIs
High energy, proactive, highly responsible and have a sense of urgency.
Proven ability to work with creative advertising/media agencies including ability to lead peers and stakeholders
It is essential that you have passion for home furnishing and the IKEA brand, share the IKEA values, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
