About the job
This is a 1 (one) year’s basis contractual employment. This role mainly is to support the Marketing Manager, with key responsibilities in relation to PR and Digital Marketing: create and maintain a favourable public image for IPC Shopping Centre by communicating activities, accomplishments and/or points of view; as well as to plan, develop, implement and manage the overall digital marketing strategy for IPC Shopping Centre. At the same time, also to develop tenant relation to contribute traffic growth by upholding the vision of Ikano Retail Asia - To create a better everyday life for the many people.


Your assignment
Public Relations 

  • Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics.
  • Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
  • Support the marketing team in developing, coordinating and collating content for various collaterals.
  • Generate press releases and various communications literatures for internal and external activities.
  • Pitch stories to the media, preparing media kits and organizing press conferences.
  • Responsible in handling digital and online communications, execute online & social media campaigns as well as the production of EDM from conception, collation, content writing to result efficiency.
  • Responsible in monitoring media coverage, competitors and industry issues.
  • Develop, implement, track and optimize the overall digital marketing strategy across all paid, owned and earned channels.
  • Manage and oversee various digital marketing channels to ensure high engagement rate.
  • Continuously creating digital media content to improve brand positioning.
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
  • Establish good relationship with tenants and initiate tactical projects to enhance product awareness and presence of tenants in the Centre.
  • Assist in planning, implementing, executing and measuring effectiveness of CRM/loyalty programs for the shopping centre.

Miscellaneous

  • Responsible for all copywriting of the department. 
  • Prepare and manage internal communication among co-workers and tenants.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities & potentials and recommend initiatives that will drive good traffic growth to the mall.
  • To contribute to the strategic planning of an annual or long-term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives.
  • Contribute to budgeting and invoicing process.

Qualification

Your profile

  • Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships.
  • Good command in English. Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese would be an added advantage.
  • Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms.
  • Confident communicator and presenter.
  • Good fundamental in ATL & BTL.    
  • Able to deliver comprehensive jobs outcome under minimum supervision.
  • Good copywriting, communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in working with Shopping Centre would be an added advantage.
  • To optimize brand communications and media relations.
  • Analytical with ability to organize, multi‐task, work independently on several projects and meet deadlines.
  • Passionate, a team player and possess strong attention to details.
  • Able to work on weekend or public holiday (1 day in a month).
