About the job

For the Digital team, we are looking for a proactive enthusiast who can help us in establishing E-Commerce in the Philippines. Securing the IKEA brand and our overall vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people”, by leading web team, organising and controlling project activities of Ecommerce website rollout. Work closely with the global and local stakeholders to implement the content and merchandising of the website. Control the implementation schedule, cost and performance, and coordinate with the operational team to ensure satisfied customers.

Your assignment

  • Living IKEA culture and values as well as reflect them daily by inspiring, motivating and demonstrating with lead by example to the team.
  • Driving IKEA website rollout and deliver the defined result on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with the global and local stakeholders.
  • Ensure the website readiness as part of project plan to secure defined benefits for customers.
  • Coordinate between web team members to keep workflow on track.
  • Monitoring progress of each activity to ensure milestones are on track and move forward to project goals.
  • Communicate information to stakeholders to ensure all teams align with project milestones.
  • Align business requirements with solutions that support customer and co-worker as well as identify and evaluate potential problems and develop solutions.
  • Manage project-related documents to use during the handover.
  • The position will be based in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya. Malaysia.


Your profile

  • Experience with IKEA background in a leading position is preferable.
  • Hands-on experience with IKEA website management and rollout.
  • Project management experience.
  • Have a strong will and self-belief to grow personally.
  • Passionate about people and their development.
  • Innovative, able to challenge the status quo and find better ways.
  • Driven by business impact and helping customers by providing effective solutions.
  • Familiar with Ecommerce processes, methods and connected IT solutions.
  • Experience in online selling and merchandising techniques.
  • Good communication and presentations knowledge.
