The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years previous experience within Facilities, Asset, Contractor and Project Management. Candidates demonstrating proven experience dealing with local/national standards and legislation in relation to facilities management and building compliance ref - annual occupational certification, will be highly regarded. We are looking for a highly professional individual who is, pro-active and has a sense of urgency in the delivery of tasks. You would be responsible for but not limited to: • All FM (Facility Management) activities on site, as per our global direction including hard and soft services • Ensuring compliance in relation to building standards, legislation and IKEA Group Property and Risk requirements • Approving, monitoring, tracking and managing costs and budgets • Responsible for data entry for sustainability and our FM bi-monthly report • Supplier management of our contractors through service agreements and legislation • Responsible for CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management) software programme • Mentoring, coaching and developing our Site FM support co-worker as their direct reporting manager • Actively reducing energy and emissions in line with IKEA’s value of Caring for People and the Planet

The Site Facilities Manager is responsible for a great customer experience, by ensuring that we have a compliant and well-maintained safe site for all visitors, customers and co-workers. Taking care of our facilities and assets; maintaining them to the highest standard ensure that the site is “In Shape as New” every day, by prioritising asset maintenance to maximizing equipment service life while maintaining budget.
