WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
The main responsibilities of the In Store Supply Team Leader in a NOM Store are: exceeding customer expectations by ensuring a seamless and easy buying process that creates trust in the IKEA brand in a multichannel environment; managing and supporting the team in order to co-ordinate and optimise goods flow operations in the store. This will result in agreed product availability for customers and the correct quality of the goods flow process in the store at the lowest possible costs. Your main assignments will be:
• Contribute to the creation and operational implementation of the local store' action plan. • Lead the team and work with the country In-store Logistics and the store to secure the highest goods availability for customers at all times and at the lowest possible cost. • Secure correct usage of short- and mid-term capacity needs by creating operating capacity through space optimisation using available working methods and routines. • Identify, recruit and develop the many talents in the team to secure succession planning. • Secure that the work of the team complies with internal IKEA regulations, local legislation related to health, safety and security environment • Ensure the Furniture Areas (Self Service & Warehouse) are in excellent shape as new and fully and efficiently stocked with the basics in place at all times to satisfy customers • Ensure efficient daily goods flow operations (IFS included); this includes the inventory process, unloading activity, internal handling, picking & delivery service.
