HEJ!
My name is Linn and I’m the Co-worker Experience Manager for IKEA Retail Sweden. Are you passionate about people planning? Do you wish to lead the agenda for Sweden in securing we meet our customers where they want to be met in an omnichannel reality? Do you want to contribute to our co-workers everyday experience at work meeting our customers?

WHO YOU ARE
I am looking for a person who is highly dedicated to create value in great people planning and its effects on an organization. As such you are experienced in people planning and an inspirational leader, aiming to develop business through people. As part of the assignment you also are in close connection to our units. You have very good knowledge about country people planning approaches and local legal requirements in people planning.

In this role your drive and ability to act is very important. You show good understanding of our business direction and strategies in order to be able to be in charge of our people planning agenda for the country.

You appreciate to collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure and develop the people planning ways of working and strategy. For that you need to be communicative and also determined. It is natural for you to take initiative and responsibility, expressing your ideas and opinions effectively with the aim to influence and inspire and also challenge the existing when needed. You enjoy working together, making movements!

To be successful we believe you have a proven record in developing people and teams, where you are an experienced and inspirational leader. If you have experience from a global matrix organisation and/or participating in global projects that is beneficial. You write and speak English fluently, skills in other languages is more than welcome and you have a degree within Human Resource or Business administration.

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US

No two days are the same, however on a typical day you aim to drive the people planning agenda and also be an inspirational leader to your community.

In a more detailed way, you will also have on your agenda the following:

• Lead the localisation of the Global Matrix concept, frameworks, approach and process in order to ensure successful implementation in country.

• Lead and develop People Planning team to deliver a high standard of excellence in our units. Secure close follow-up of people planning and related KPIs.

• Co-operate across functions as a credible partner to ensure everyone understands and contribute to a people planning process that is focused on co-workers, customers and the IKEA business.

• Be responsible for following up the entire people planning process, including commercial influences, possible improvements, as well as ensuring work schedules and actual worked hours comply with all labour laws.

In this role you will report to me, Country Co-worker Experience Manager, and we are a team that look forward to welcome you! You, as People Planning Manager, will have remote leadership, leading one People Planning Specialist. As a team working within Co-worker Experience, our purpose is to help create a better everyday life for our many co-workers and in turn they can deliver the best customer experience! People Planning is an important area within Co Worker Experience.

You act as an ambassador for the IKEA values, with the awareness of what the IKEA brand represents and how it should be incorporated in everything we do. You seek to be on top of what is happening within the area, globally and locally, and you enjoy working in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment.
