For this role you should have a university degree in Logistics, Economics, Business Administration or related or 1-2 years’ experience in the area of expertise. You bring with you excellent computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office. You have proven analytical and numeric skills and the ability to identify required actions. You are a confident and clear communicator in English, both written and verbally and have a proven experience in problem solving and in improving ways of working. You have knowledge in the following areas: • IKEA business model, processes and ways of working • Excellent understanding of central fulfilment operation processes • Understanding of the customer needs, demands and expectations on the market • Market/industry intelligence: understanding of KPIs used for success measures for own function • Excellent knowledge of relevant IT systems/solutions/tools within central fulfilment operations


The purpose of the role is to take overall responsibility for a high-performing organization in the market Central Fulfilment network including: • Excellence in operations for all central fulfilment units on the market • Identifying and acting on improvement potentials • Lead and contribute to various development initiatives You will contribute to the operations and development of the Central Fulfilment organization with a customer-centric and collaborative approach in focus. In this role you will focus on delivering results with the sense of urgency, achieving and exceeding operational goals and higher efficiency in daily tasks. You will provide subject matter expertise and advice to business leaders within Central Fulfilment processes that will contribute to the development of business and people and implement, assess standards, guidelines and policies within the own area of expertise and contribute to their development. You will be: • Responsible for a high performing daily operations and an efficient fulfilment network • Responsible for excellence in operations, quality and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) • Responsible for close cooperation with Central Fulfilment Unit counterparts to secure correct usage of short-, and mid-term capacity as well as plan for future needs by considering space, equipment and people as part of the total supply chain capacity. • Responsible for capturing and sharing of best practices, creating synergies, enabling common ways of working • Responsible for sharing knowledge with colleagues and business partners to support their competence development • Responsible for securing and supporting the implementation of defined global working methods • Responsible for the cooperation with key partners on the market including Warehousing Logistics and HSED while contributing with to all matrices, global and market initiatives and competence networks. • Responsible for the cooperation with the local fulfilment unit matrix to establish a common agenda and to utilize the total organizational competence to support local core projects and priorities. • Contribute to positioning IKEA as a responsible partner in lowering the environmental impact


Customer Fulfilment (CFF) plays a fundamental role within Retail in achieving the IKEA goal of becoming a multichannel retailer. Customer Fulfilment acts as a fully integrated function, with an end-to-end approach to develop our business having customers’ needs at heart. We are focusing on contributing to a seamless shopping experience for the many people with great quality across all touchpoints. The Fulfilment Development & Multichannel Network function within CFF is taking the lead and overall responsibility for the design, establishment and development of the fulfilment capability.
