WHO YOU ARE

IKEA Nottingham are recruiting for 2 Food Team Leaders within IKEA Nottingham Restaurant and IKEA Nottingham Bistro.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for someone who is customer-focused and has a passion for delivering an absolute first-class customer experience during their time in the store. You are an inspiring leader with a passion for coaching and developing your people. You have a hands-on approach to tasks.

•Passionate about identifying and developing the many co-workers to improve customer experience and support progression and competence on the department.
•You are sales driven and service minded with a minimum of two years’ Team Leader experience of serving customers in a kitchen production or hospitality role. Your passion for food makes you take pride in the service and product you serve.
•You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience from and enjoy working in a vibrant food production or hospitality environment. You are flexible and know how to execute action plans in a good way, you truly make things happen.
•Leading by example is important to you.
•Experience of Food Safety Systems, food ordering and scheduling is desirable but not essential.

CONTRACT INFORMATION

Hours per week: Full time 39 hours
Contract type: Permanent
Shift pattern: 5 days over 7
Flexibility towards working hours is essential, you will be required to work a mixture of shifts including, days, evenings & alternate weekends.

DAY THE LIFE OF AN IKEA FOOD TEAM LEADER

•Keeping the customer in focus and taking action to optimise sales and inspire our customers.
•Ensuring your area of responsibility is commercial, clean, tidy, attractive and inviting. You also ensure our products are in perfect condition and correctly priced at all times.
•Being passionate about the food we serve and sell, and actively learn about it and share your knowledge with customers and colleagues.
•You contribute and support the implementation of the store Business Plan and IKEA Food action plan.
•Promoting a safety first culture, as well as coach others in ensuring routines and requirements are known and followed in all daily work.
•Identifying training and development needs of your co-workers and implementing an action plan to fulfil this.
•You will be responsible for leading a team in the following areas of the function - restaurant floor, till operators, Swedish Food Market, Bistro, Kitchen Production and food serving and dish.
