We are looking to welcome Checkout Assistants to join our fantastic Checkout Team.

In the IKEA world, we call this position a Checkout Co-worker.

Expected Starting Date: 10th September

Interviews: 11th – 24th August

• £10.10 basic hourly rate
• Living Wage Foundation Employer

12 hours working 3 days out of 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends, flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews.

We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work during the day, late evenings, and full weekends.

This role is varied with no two days being the same; one minute you could be on checkouts and the next minute, you could be meeting and greeting our customers at our front entrance.

• You aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
• You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
• Provide an efficient and accurate checkout experience in various areas of the store.
• Ensure that payments are handled in a reliable, efficient, accurate and friendly way.
• Build loyalty by ensuring customers have an exceptional shopping experience.
