Goods Flow In (Logistics) Co-Workers

WHO YOU ARE

You have a keen sense of urgency and are able to prioritise your work to make efficient use of time and meet deadlines. You have a hands-on approach to a physically demanding environment, and a solution-focused mind set. You have a flexible approach to team work and enjoy change. You value safety as a priority, and encourage safe manual handling practices within your team. You need to be able to think and act efficiently and safely to ensure a smooth goods flow operation that results in the right products being available to customers. Forklift (LF) licence and/or previous forklift experience is preferred, but not essential. You are available to work early shifts commencing at 5am until 9am, with availability to work up to 3 out of 4 weekends.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Goods Flow (Logistics) Co-worker, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Contributing to the highest goods availability for customers by the correct and on-time execution of the store goods flow tasks • Working according to inventory and administrative guidelines to maintain the data integrity of the inventory in order to maximise product availability for customers • Ensuring your assigned area is fully stocked in a timely manner by ensuring goods flow processes are adhered to • Working with your team to ensure that the store is fully stocked, ready to meet the customers for the day

Logistics co-workers contribute to a smooth goods flow operation in the store and warehouse and a great meeting with the customer in all sales channels by ensuring a consistently high availability of our offer, with the highest quality. Contributing to optimised goods flow operations in the store by working in a lean and simple way, using and sharing good examples. Through this role, you will broaden your knowledge and understanding of IKEA by seeing where it all begins, with the arrival of the flat pack into the store, then onto the shelf and into the customer’s trolley. You will be joining an amazing team of hardworking co-workers who aren’t afraid of a challenge and getting a little hot and sweaty along the way.
