Recovery Team Leader

Job description


Pro-active and analytical with a focus on identifying root causes and taking the lead in reaching better ways of working within the recovery and quality processes. Ability to relate the work of the Recovery department to quality and sustainability. Good operational understanding and logical thinking. Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Ability to lead business through people by demonstrating high leadership capabilities. Solid experience of business processes and working methods within IKEA retailing. Ability to drive the business with a strong will. Experience of leading and developing people. Self-reliant with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Ability to understand and communicate in English. Ability to solve problems or find new ways of working by identifying solution sources and/or ideas. A knowledge of how to optimise recovery revenue. An understanding for how recovery and quality contributes effectively to the bottom line. Knowledge of the processes and administrative routines for recovery and quality, and how transfer types affect the key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the Recovery department. An understanding of change management and process improvements. Good understanding of merchandising techniques and how to create a commercially attractive As-Is area. Understanding of the stores Commercial Calendar and how it affects the flow into recovery


Co-operate across functions to ensure everyone understands and contributes to the recovery process by focusing on prevention, revenue, sustainability and quality. Identify and develop needs, potential growth and improvements for efficient ways of working through co- operation within the store. Contribute to the business plan within the store by delivering the department action plan. Set goals, measurements and constantly strive for improving the ability of the store to perform daily tasks in accordance with set rules and guidelines, and find the best working methods for preventing costs and optimising revenue while keeping the bottom-line profit in mind. Implement and continuously ensure optimal usage of common working methods, processes and tools related to the Recovery process. Stay aware of daily needs and challenges through interactions with dependent functions, the Business Navigation & Operations Manager and the national recovery and quality matrix. Secure sustainable ways of working throughout the whole recovery process Identify and develop the many talents within the Recovery department to secure succession planning. Contribute in the national recovery and quality matrix to enable knowledge and competence sharing between stores.
