To support the growth of Ikano Retail México by managing the process of Tax reporting compliance and internal Financial Consolidation and Reporting of all entities in the business. To assist Ikano Retail Mexico steer the business towards sustained long term profitability.
Responsible for monthly Tax compliance (Monthly VAT / GST submission & Corporate Tax Return) ensuring the Tax frame and processes across the organisation are established to secure accurate, efficient and timely reporting
to the Authorities.
Ensure all external and intercompany invoices through Interfactura are processed correctly and as efficiently as possible
Continuously review, challenge and assess the impact of new Mexican regulations changes “ misceláneas fiscales on place” in coordination with Tax advisors.
Ensure all transfer pricing methodology and documentation is updated locally and aligned with Ikano Retail principles.
Follow uo to the set up of Financial models, processes and systems strong support to Financial Controller ensuring proper control of the processes implementation and training.
Coordinate, consolidate and review monthly management results for reporting entities for statutory report and local compliance under IFRS and reporting for LUX GAAPS with Finance Managers and relevant BN. Provide brief commentary on significant variances to approved budget / forecast.
Manage and consolidate P&L and BS management forecasts for IKEA, Support Function allowing analysis at different viewpoints through the business (Comparable/Non-Comparable, EO, Business lines & allocation of SO etc.)
Lead the consolidation of annual P&L and BS Budget including CAPEX for IKEA, SC and Support Function through collaboration with respective BN, FM (SC) and AM.
Coordinate and review quarterly actual and forecast submission in Cognos for Group Finance. Ensure that accounting entries for Group reporting are in line with Group accounting standards and that these standards are applied consistently for quarterly reporting.
Review disclosures from subsidiaries and statutory consolidation by Accounting Manager (SO Mexico) and ensure that accounting treatment and disclosures are in line with management consolidation.
Lead and own Financial Reporting methodology: documentation of methods and processes ensuring best practice is adopted.
Degree in Accounting or Economics
3 to 5 years of experience in a Management / Supervisor position
5 years of experience in Financial Reporting
Tax knowledge 2 years
Consolidation and Reporting
Financial Accounting and analytics
Financial IT literacy, Reporting systems experience
Strong influencing and communication skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Self-reliant with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as
