Risk & Return Leader develops and drive the global process with quantitative and qualitative analysis necessary for a project and portfolio view on risk and return. The primary focus is to support Ingka Centres decision making process based on a fact-based analysis and reporting.
We are looking for you who is literate in risk management, with advanced experiences from financial modelling, preferably within real estate development. You like to work in a sometimes fast-paced environment, interacting with many stakeholders and key competences. Team leadership is inherent in your background. You have strong social skills, with a mature personality, having the ability to protect agreed frameworks when needed. You find it stimulating to explain complex models and structures in a simple way. And of course, you share Ingka Centre’s culture and values.
You have knowledge of: •Risk and financial modelling •Risk assessment and monetising risks •Real estate finance and controlling
We believe you have a background in finance, economics or mathematics with few years of relevant work experience, preferably from an international company.
A summary of your assignment is to:
• Manage the practical work with risk & return analysis in collaboration with development managers and other stakeholders within Expansion & Development. • Establish and lead a professional risk & return module to build up a database of comparable and reliable data on development projects. • Lead identification of the most important risks related to the development projects to support the decision-making process. • Design and improve a fact-based analysis of individual projects and the total development portfolio. • Simplify reporting and risk & return monitoring and improve objectivity and reliability of reported data. • Lead monitoring of performance of development projects through dashboards, set to enable strategic decision-making. • Structure guidance on risk reporting to the project development managers. • Standardise risk & return reporting to ensure improved comparability of development projects

As our future Risk & Return Leader at Ingka Centres you will be a part of the Expansion & Development function. The purpose of our function is to source, develop and establish meeting places that contribute to the expansion plans of IKEA Retail and drive visitation as well as steer towards optimizing the portfolio by investing in assets and divesting of assets.
The Risk and Return team, led by Risk and Return Manager, is working closely with the local development project teams. The Risk & Return team is an integrated part of the local project reporting and is conducting risk reporting as part of the globally established Financial Model for forecasting and re-forecasting, every tertial.
In this role you will report to Risk & Return Manager, Martin Jonsson, and your place of work will be Malmö. Working from other Hubs of Ingka Centres can be discussed during the recruitment process.
