You are a senior Procurement professional, with category management experience in IT & Digital, you are comfortable navigating in the international business environment and have a proven track record in delivering business results. You have the desire to find new opportunities to improve business and have the capability to communicate the vision, influence the decisions and secure the deployment of business cases.
The Category Leader will lead, steer and develop the sourcing agenda, execute sourcing projects, and ensure the delivery to the total needs of the business striving for volume and economies of scale. Accountable for collaboration and strategic partnership with other organisations and stakeholders within and outside of IKEA on relevant topics.

To be successful in this role, we believe you have: •Deep knowledge of IT and Digital industry and market specific conditions as well as macro- economic trends •Solid knowledge of, and experience from, supplier management and development •Excellent business understanding: understanding of key performance measurement used to plan, follow up and steer the business with a customer-centric approach •General legal knowledge regarding sourcing and IT/Digital sourcing •Good knowledge of change management •Knowledge of relevant IT solution landscapes associated with Procurement/sourcing •Experience from working in a complex IT/Digital environment
As a Category Leader you will have the full responsibility for securing the Group Procurement purchase from the end-to-end perspective in the area of IT and Digital. You will be responsible for building long term partnerships with Key Suppliers and create trustful relationships with Stakeholders to identify business needs. You will be responsible for supplier management and supplier performance and delivering results based on Category strategy. You will actively monitor the external market conditions to find new business opportunities within your subsegment. •Drive business performance and results by building and maintaining trustful relationships with key business owners and stakeholders. •Lead and ensure the implementation of Category Plans by developing and executing relevant action plans in the category and analyse business needs to identify and lower unnecessary costs. •Secure the execution and sourcing of projects from strategic sourcing through to efficient operational procurement and payment. •Manage and develop the supplier base in scope of responsibility to secure performance and cost optimization. •Continuously monitor the supplier market to create conditions to find new business opportunities and explore the innovation potential for the category.
