Job description

We work in cross functional teams where each member contribute with their experience, expertise and area of responsibilities. These teams stretches from UI design, app development, embedded Linux hub development all the way down to radio network implementation and small embedded devices. We are now looking for a member who can do development in our embedded Linux hub. You will help developing our hub internal API and implementing applications using this api. Your primary programming language will be Go but Javascript and C is also used. You will work closely with many other people so good communication skills are a must. You will have a few colleges with the same responsibility as you with whom you will work closely, even though they might be in other cross functional teams.


Prior experience from home automation systems or embedded Linux development is a plus but even more important is your eagerness to contribute to the team effort. We think you have a master degree in computer science or similar. You might be an experienced developer who can jump right in and contribute with your knowledge or you can be a junior developer who is eager to learn more. No matter your experience we think you have a deep interest in software development and often sits at home working with your own software projects.

Necessary experience
*Experienced Linux user
*Common knowledge of modern version control system (we use git and gerrit)
*Used to work with computer protocols and APIs

"Nice to have" experience
*History of working with home automation system
*Experience with Go (and/or Javascript and C)
*Experience from working with distributed event driven systems
*Yocto knowledge
