Hej, my name is Ola! I’m a Learning Developer Leader at Ingka Group, an IKEA franchisee operating 367 IKEA stores. Now I’m looking for a Learning Developer to join my team, a team of three talented learning developers that focus on the business areas Market Support and Expansion. A Learning Developer in my team focus on identifying learning needs that transforms into learning opportunities. Learning Development in Ingka Group are going through major changes where we need to change our mind-set when it comes to learning. We want to step into a more future facing approach and you are an important part in this change! Curious? Great! For this job I need someone who has a passion for learning and is motivated by developing people. For you it is important to make a difference for the many people in IKEA and make an impact on the IKEA business. For you it is important to understanding the learner’s needs and you are able to develop learning opportunities that are relevant, accessible and in the right time. You are savvy in facilitating learning needs analysis with various business partners. You love to utilize data when developing learning opportunities and have experienced this in a corporate context. One of your strong abilities is to see and understand the complete learning landscape and decide how you want to optimise the learning experience. For me it is given that you see a world that entwines digital and physical arenas since in today’s reality there is no “either/or”, it is “both/and”. You are able to design and produce engaging learning opportunities where you have experience from using different methods and delivery platforms. Still here? Fantastic! You have the ability to move between levels of strategic thinking, tactical planning and operational execution. Independent of what level you are facing you are someone that identifies a problem and falls in love with it. Your mind-set is to solve the problem through applying your expertise, seek collaboration and wisdom in others and daring to fail when trying. I see it as a benefit for you if you have experience from a global retail company, but it is not a deal breaker.


Together with the team identify and prioritise learning needs in collaboration with partners in Market Support and Expansion. You challenge and clarify what deliverables are needed. You lead learning solution* development initiatives together with internal partners and external partners. You will occasionally produce learning solutions on your own, securing speed in providing learning opportunities. Collaborate with the countries and market areas, focusing on supporting implementation of and follow up on learning solutions. You collaborate using virtual meeting spaces as well as occasionally travel for face to face sessions. You have responsibility for life cycle management of various learning solutions that includes tracking and analysing the impact of learning solutions. Contribute to the Ingka Group learning community by sharing ideas and explore trends in the learning industry. You initiate dialogue and initiatives for improving our way of working with learning, together with the team and in collaboration with our Centre of Expertise. *Learning Solution: A compilation of learning components (opportunities) targeting a specific competence movement
