IKEA Industry has during several years ran a program to accelerate implementation of the lean production concept IPS (IKEA Production System). The program is rolled out across the Divisions, by external IKEA suppliers and lately also at IKEA retail where best practices in performance management, operations and way of working will be implemented on the shop floor as well as in the rest of the organization.
The program is driven by a group of change agents in collaboration with management team, shop floor personnel and support functions.

Show us how you´d do it
Your responsibility will be to lead and drive transformation processes in a factory from “top to bottom”. You will lead demanding projects on our sites across the network and help designing and implementing future operations in IKEA Industry factories, at external IKEA suppliers as well as at IKEA retail.
After a 6-12 months period you will be the expert in our transformation concept and drives our transformations aiming at implementing the best practices principles and improving performance in our factories, at external IKEA suppliers or at IKEA retail. This involves:
To drive shop-floor transformation
To train operators & managers in transformation approach, tools and standards
To implement necessary support structures to ensure sustainability e.g. performance management and organization.
To coach and challenge senior operational managers through a demanding change process
To facilitate focused improvement workshops and in general contribute to the IPS concept
The position is global and is based according to agreement with the need in Malmö, Sweden and will require lots of traveling (150+ days). You will be reporting to one of the two Regional Lean Managers.
To apply, you should be a lean expert with several years of experience in implementing and managing successful lean projects. Proven ability to drive improvement savings and teaching lean techniques to all levels of the organization to move them into a self-sustaining mode.
You have an educational base at B.Sc level or equivalent.
As individual you have good leadership skills. You are a good communicator, have a high drive, perseverance and analytical skills. You have interest and drive for future career development.
A good command of English is of course important. Other languages in spoken and written is qualifying.
