We believe you have proven advanced training in business administration, finance, economics or equivalent and bring minimum 5 years’ experience in business steering or finance related field. You also have minimum 5 years of experience of developing businesses and delivering results as well as leading and influencing teams and managers. Moreover, we expect you to have experience from managing change in a complex business environment.

You bring:
•Extensive understanding of Ingka governance and performance, and broad business knowledge and cross functional understanding of IKEA Retail operations and process landscape
•Extensive knowledge of investment calculation and real estate investment principles and deep knowledge of IKEA retail accounting and business navigation processes
•Insights in project management and knowledge of how to implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders, as well as how to set direction, create and manage long-term goals and follow-up on KPI´s
•Good knowledge of Ingka Group strategies, priorities, and strategic expansion planning process

As our Investment and Operations Team Leader, you will lead a team of highly skilled leaders and analysts. You will be responsible to develop, ensure and follow up investment and operational processes and assignments related to Ingka Strategic Expansion plan, to secure sustainable growth, profitability and operational excellence.

You will:
•be responsible for portfolio navigation, reporting and data management, financial status of projects and portfolio, analysis and follow up of the Retail market penetration portfolio
•develop and organize the Investment process of expansion projects and activities, including governance and reviews, tools, and templates, working methods and communication
•be responsible for the development of cost management working methods and tools, applied in Expansion and Real estate investments
•develop, support and follow-up of expansion business cases in new and existing markets, and follow up expansion development and reinvestment (APM - Active Portfolio Management and SISAN – Store In Shape As New) projects in Ingka real estate assets
•be responsible for budget process, project cost allocations, setting goals and KPI´s for Group Expansion and matrix
•be responsible for the Investment Management process and follow-up process as part of Ingka Expansion process landscape including competence development and training materials
•collaborate with other IKEA units and represent Investment & Operations and Group Expansion in various forums and meetings
•lead, coach and develop a high performing team and work for an open and sharing climate, enabling all team members to share best practices with and across the organisation
•act as a role model of IKEA values and lead positive change to build a more unique, inclusive and accessible IKEA

This role is located in Malmö, Sweden and reports to Investment & Operations Manager.

We take the lead in the business development of existing and new customer meeting points. We act on business needs and empower the markets to maximise accessibility, implement our retailing concepts and fully utilise our assets in the new world of IKEA – all at the lowest cost, with an economy of scale and sustained profitability.
