We are looking for someone who has:
• engineering education within design/construction
• multidisciplinary experience within design and engineering for building projects
• leadership skills
You will lead a fantastic team of people who are responsible for different competence areas. We want you to develop the team further, but also lead the work of technical solutions/innovations in Ingka. The current key competence areas includes Structural and Architectural Design, Fire and Risk Engineering, HVAC Systems and Energy Modelling, Electrical Systems, LCC/LCA & BREEAM, Technical Solutions and Innovations for Ikea’s sustainability agenda People Planet Positive.
We offer you a possibility to work with building projects in over 30 countries where Ingka Group are doing business. We also offer you the possibility to be involved in new ways of working. Your team will work proactively with different construction projects where they will be involved in an early stage to support and drive the use of latest tools and technology. Since Ingka Group are exploring new ways of doing business it also means that the building projects are different from what we are used to do and will need the team and you to think innovative and with sustainability. That also means that you will be working with other Group Functions like Sustainability, Risk & Compliance, Procurement and Business Owners like Retail Expansion and Ingka Centres etc.

This role is located in Malmö and you will report to the Construction Manager, Group Real Estate.

We secure new and maintain existing physical locations in order to meet the needs of the many people. We provide strategic insight based on our knowledge and understanding of the Ingka real estate portfolio. We take the lead in delivering safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative property solutions – with Democratic design and life cycle cost on top of our mind. We actively maintain and secure that our properties are kept in relevant shape for the business so that we can provide a safe and healthy environment for all co-workers and customers.
