Data Privacy Leader (Ingka Centres) – Group Digital

You have a minimum of 3 years of progressive and diverse experience in data privacy operations, preferably in a global company. In addition, you have demonstrable experience in implementing best practice in data privacy and showcasing privacy by design. You are CIPP/E qualified, or equivalent. You know how to lead in a changing environment and have documented leadership skills. You have the knowledge in following areas: • Sound knowledge of data privacy laws and related regulations and the impacts to the IKEA business, for markets within area of responsibility • Sound knowledge of translating requirements from laws and regulations into practical, implementable policies which can be then managed and measured • Good understanding of how the three disciplines of data privacy, information security and information management can both overlap and complement one another • Good understanding of how the IT landscape affects data privacy compliance • Good knowledge of what constitutes best practice in data privacy and how to benchmark IKEA against competitors and market peers We are looking for someone who has a bright and positive attitude towards life and work. We work hard, but also like to laugh. Strong communication skills are in your nature, so that you can build a strong business relationship with your country stakeholders. Integrity and discretion are also key traits which you can demonstrate in your daily work. You preferably have at least two years of experience of line management.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will develop and nurture relationships with the Centres markets through the management and support of Data Privacy Leaders in the three Centres areas (EU, Russia and China). The leader will drive standardisation of activity across countries, whilst ensuring alignment with Group requirements. Furthermore you will align Centres activity with the Ingka Group Data Privacy strategy. You will: • At a Group level, support Data Privacy Manager (Group CPO) in leading data privacy initiatives for the Centres regions • At a Group level, represent Centres interests when developing strategic direction and vision for data privacy • At a Group level, represent Centres interests when reviewing and inputting to Steering documents, guidelines and business proposals related to data privacy • At a Group level, enable Data Privacy Leaders in the three Centres regions to implement risk and compliance frameworks • Develops Data Privacy Leaders and networks in the Centres regions, keeping abreast with industry developments • Secures alignment of Centres activity with Ingka Group requirements and framework • Support Data Privacy Manager (Group CPO) in developing a ‘Privacy by Design’ culture throughout Ingka, implementing the required processes in the Centres regions • Support and monitor reporting from the three Centres regions on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to data privacy, through the use of risk indicators, maturity assessments and external audits • Monitor laws, industry trends and technologies that impact the Centres regions, updating relevant steering documents and roadmaps initiatives accordingly • Establish and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders (both internal and external) to support compliance with local data privacy laws and regulations
