Data Manager (Leader) - Ingka Centres

WHO YOU ARE

We are searching for someone with proven advanced training in information technology, business information management or equivalent and who has a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Manager. Moreover, we believe you have previous experience in working with data queries and is confident in reviewing code and understand how things are working. Agile and DevOps ways of working is nothing new to you and is actually working environments that motivates you! You have knowledge of: • processes and governance to consistently define and manage the critical data of Ingka Centres to provide a single point of reference - a reliable base of data; create, acquire, use and store data to ensure compliance • how to structure data and information in both processes and information technology systems to ensure reliable, accessible and relevant information, always securing the appropriate levels of privacy and security • the requirements on how to centralize data from different platforms and enable agility and flexibility to respond to fast changing needs

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US

As Data Leader you will drive the development of standard operating procedures for data handling (CRUD) and archiving, to ensure ongoing accuracy, validity, reuse and efficient storage of available data. You will take responsibility for the implementation of policies and guidelines (e.g. GDPR compliance, BIAs, etc.) for information security management by working in collaboration with internal stakeholders (Ingka Group, Ingka Centres), an applying approaches and methodologies which support information security and data privacy policies. You will: • drive and coordinate data acquisition (identifying when we need to re-engineer data from new sources and ensuring new data - either acquired or created), storage and sharing, ensuring timely delivery and proper organization of relevant data, supporting data analytics and insights • actively explore new opportunities for data acquisition • educate co-workers and monitoring and improving processes and tools that support the business’s data quality management goals and roadmap • actively identify and address data quality issues and continuously develop and train co-workers who provide data to do this in a consistent and correct way • work with Master Data Management obtaining requirements from business, aligning with Ingka Group when needed, facilitating co-workers in overall MDM process and guiding line business through Data Handling Rules • partner with Advanced Analytics (and others, e.g. Business Navigation) to obtain and coordinate existing/new data requirements • work with data security (ensure correct classifications (e.g. BIA) and security roles (access management), facilitate co-workers to do BIA; together with Data Architect • perform root cause analysis, trouble-shooting where process breaks down in data lifecycle, making recommendations to improve In this role you will report to the Data Governance Manager, Ingka Centres. The role will be placed in Malmö, Sweden.
